Importing existing images and captures
Importing existing images and captures
Often you'll want to import images you already have. HelpBurner makes this easy.
Adding a new imported image
To add a new imported image to your help topic simply click the add image button on the add element toolbar (1).
Selecting the image to import
In the open window that appears, locate the image you wish to import and click open. HelpBurner will add the image to your help topic.
Re-importing a new image
If you want to replace an existing image with a different imported image from your computer, simply hover over the image with your mouse and click the folder button (1) on the image editing toolbar to select an image.
Tips
-
You can move any element (titles, images, rich-text) up and down in your help topic by hovering over the element and clicking the up/down arrows that display in the top-right corner.
-
Replacing an existing image preserves any existing annotations you may have added.
-
Try resizing imported images (using the resize button on the edit image toolbar) so they're a consistent size throughout your help.
