Adding links
Linking is a best-practice for creating user-friendly help
Linking to relevant resources is vital to creating good help that your users find useful. HelpBurner can link to other help topics, web-pages, e-mail and many other resources.
To add a link, select the text you wish to link (1) and click the insert hyperlink button on the toolbar.
In the insert hyperlink window, you have the choice of adding a link to:
-
Another help topic.
-
Web, e-mail or other web-style link.
-
Sub-title within this same help topic.
When you've entered the link click the Insert button next to the type of link you want to create.
