About Us

Who are we and what makes us qualified to talk about awesome help and support?  Good question…

We’re a small group (we fit in a mini-bus!) who run a software company from Auckland, New Zealand.  We started in 1999 and back then you could get away with a good product and poor support – in fact, it was normal to do so.  As time has passed we’ve build our products and sold them to over 100,000 paying customers world wide and we’ve noticed a slow but steady change…  Technology has changed everything and customers are starting to be put first… This is brilliant… This combination means the little guy (like us and you) can compete with the big guys and win. 

We can win in business by putting the customer first. 

We saw this first hand when sales for one of our products that had “always just sold itself” started to fall a little.  We tried the normal things (new release etc) and they didn’t work so we went back to what helped us become successful back in 1999 – we chose to focus on the customer and their needs.  To solve their problems and provide top notch support with our limited resources.  The change was nothing short of spectacular and it’s turned things around for us.

The problem is, how do you do this?  Well, we’re going to tell you… It’s not tricky and it’s not hard if you know what to do (the reciepe so to speak).  If you have to figure it out yourself (like we did) and decide which tools to use and then find out they were wrong and change them again you could be there for a year at least.  If you know what to do then you can start improving your support today and make gradual steps to keep getting it better.  The benefits to your business are immediate and immense.

It’s exciting times for small businesses today… not only can we compete with the big guys, we can beat them by doing something they can’t – being flexible.  How many times have you called or e-mailed a large company and received not even a reply?  Well they used to be able to get away with that… it was normal, when the customer wasn’t put first.  Not anymore and they’re struggling to figure this out… leopards don’t change their spots… easily!  Don’t make the mistake of putting your customers second – put them first and youcan build a brilliant business that will last.

    Mike- The attitude you first portrayed when I first contacted you some 3 years ago is exemplified in your company and certainly permeates it. I am looking forward to trying your HelpBurner and doing whatever else I can to be of assistance to Inzone in general and you in particular. With your permission I would also like to offer the HelpBurner Beta to a much more sophisticated (computer wise) colleague who would also be very helpful ( I believe) in offering a good eval of your new product.
